WHAT CAN WE DO FOR YOU?

LIFE SKILLS HELP:

Hip Hop Girl

Our Life Skills Help is here to aid you in navigating the constantly changing roads of life.  We have heard students say, "I'll never need to speak or write good."  Then LIFE happens, and they are glad they learned what they did not think they needed.

Learn as much as you can now, whether you need it or not.  You never know when you will have to travel another road.

HOMEWORK ASSISTANCE

The purpose of homework is to reinforce the skills which have been taught or covered during the day,  week,  or unit.  Teachers want to discover what your child knows and what they still need help in learning.  It does no good for you or someone else to complete the homework for them.

So, homework is not done for the students. However Another Chance
for Academic Excellence will help every child to attain the skills needed to accomplish each assignment.

(Pss! We will even work on penmanship.)

2

COMPLETING APPLICATIONS

Sometimes finishing an application can be scary.  If you need a little guidance, we are here for you.

3

PREPARING FOR INTERVIEWS

You get many mixed messages about the real world.  Some messages tell you to "act the way you want",  and others tell you to "conform."  In actuality, it is a bit of both.

There have to be standards.  Would you really want someone to work on your car that had not proved he or she is a great mechanic?

Another Chance for Academic Excellence will talk to you about selecting the right attire, asking and answering questions, and how to present yourself (which includes speaking).

4
WRITING LETTERS

Great! There is AI, Chat GPT, Grammarly, and world of other mechanical devices to produce writing for you.  Now what?  When you are speaking to someone and your vocabulary, sentence structure, and phrasing sounds nothing like what the computer produced how will you explain?

Letters are personal.  Writing letters is personal.  Computers can help, but your letter should sound like you.  Let us help!
